Converts L-3-Hydroxyacyl-CoA NAD+ into 3-Ketoacyl-CoA NADH H+

L-3-hydroxyacyl-CoA dehydrogenase oxidizes the β-hydroxyl group using NAD+. NADH donates electrons to complex I of the respiratory chain.
